“We visited Pto Varas for a week in April. Gabriela's apartment was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The whole apartment is thoughtfully furnished and well equipped for cooking and relaxing. The kids enjoyed the heated pool & hot tub (bring swim caps & flip flops, which are required), parking was easily accessible, and the building, which appears to be brand new, was very secure. “First the positive: the property was largely as advertised, although the hot tub was green and "closed for the season". The neighborhood seemed sketchy to us, and the host made sure we knew it was very important to keep the gate locked at all times. Now the terrible: No communication about check in - I messaged twice through the VRBO app and no reply. Finally I called - Eduardo didn't seem to know we were coming but confirmed the property was available. When we showed up, he asked us what rate……

“Diego was a great host, super communicative and responsive. The check in/out and arrival process was a breeze. We adored this special house, with its epic forest views and solid book collection. We somehow slept 14 hours the first night, something that hasn’t happened in over twenty years. The bed and pillows were just so comfy and it was so quiet there! We loved the private hikes on the property; it was fun to explore and hang out by the river. The nearby town had more than everything needed,……
