“We've stayed in a lot of properties and this is my new favorite. We brought 3 of our adult kids and 1 daughter in law and there was plenty of space and separation so they didn't keep us up if/when they stayed up later than us. It was old world charm with modern conveniences, and central to so many wonderful sites in Mayo. We went to Cong, Galway, Westport, Knock, Ballintubber, Ballinrobe, and up to Ballina & the incredible Downpatric Head Dun Briste sea stack & cliffs (1 hr & 1/2 scenic drive.)……

“The lodge is just incredible! The lodge is situated in such a peaceful place, surrounded by cows, sheeps and lake. There is a picnic table outside, and we enjoyed diners outside while watching the birds. Inside the lodge,the living room is very spacious, the house is clean with all the necessities you need. We didn’t miss a thing! Jim and his wife, the neighbors next door were so welcoming, checking on us every other day, bringing crumble and flowers to welcome us. It was so good, we are even……
