“The property was not in the best of shape, several bedroom shades were broken, lightbulbs out. Internet and TV were not as listed in vrbo and we ended up with only Wifi (no local tv -this was not a service issue as it was a hardware). The weather was absolutely lovely, but we had nowhere to sit outside, other than stone wall, which had our backs to the view. Fixing the front of the house driveway / patio (in poor shape) and adding outdoor seating would elevate this property emmensely.”

“What a delightful accommodation at the cliffs of Moher. Walking distance to central Doolin. Hiking starts at the property. Perfect view of castle. Home was so comfortable and well appointed. Stayed for nearly a week and hated to leave.”

“The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. It has everything you might need. The sitting room is amazing, surrounded by windows so you are looking at the Burren from the sofa. The kitchen is huge and we liked having the dining table there close to the big windows. It’s very quiet and very comfortable, and it’s just five minutes by car from town. The surroundings are spectacular. Mary and Poppy were extremely kind. They were very flexible with the check in /out time. They left plenty of……

“We had a lovely stay in this house. It was located in a beautiful location overlooking the estuary and a short drive from the local village. It was very clean and tranquil, exactly what was needed after getting away from a big city. The views of the many islands on the River Shannon were breathtaking. Anne was very friendly, easy to contact and accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend it for somewhere to stay, especially to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a picturesque setting”

“We stayed at the Stone House for 4 nights and hated to leave. We were delighted with everything about the house itself, and the view of the ocean and cows was amazing! Being in the Burren was really wonderful and we visited many of the places recommended by our hosts. The pub down the street had delicious food and we tended to avoid the crowds of Doolin. I can’t recommend this house highly enough and we hope to come back some day.”
