“Really good location. We walked to the beach & walked into town. Great location to explore from. We loved walking around with our dogs and loved eating & relaxing on beaches. Unbelievably fun place. Fantastic property manager!! When it was raining we sat on the porch and fought to stay awake, the sound of rain on trees is magnificent. ”

“I can't rave enough about this bungalow! We loved being able to walk out the gate to one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to! The bungalow is clean and comfortable, kitchen is a little tight, but manageable. Property manager Pablo, resolved a problem with the safe quickly, and also set up a tour of Refugio de Manzanillo with Abel, whom I highly recommend! We enjoyed visiting Ara Manzanillo and the Jaguar Rescue Center, both close drives. The restaurant next door was convenient and there……

“Pictures don't do justice. All three bedrooms were great size. We had 7 people and plenty of room. Outside was amazing. Watched monkey's in the trees one morning. The pool was great. No complaints at all about the house.”

June is said to be the rainy season and while it rained a little in the morning and had thunderstorms at times, we were able to spend every day at the beach, our teenager took surf lessons from Dougles at Cocles and even came to us the next day for more lessons. “Welcome to the jungle. This was the perfect change of pace for us. Waking up in the jungle, just steps from the beach was unreal. Very mellow over on the Caribbean coast. The only thing I would add would be AC, and more comfortable seating inside. Would ABSOLUTELY stay again! 🙌🏝️”

“Our family thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Casa Ylang!! It is a great space for socializing while meals are being prepared- whether you're hanging out in the hammock, enjoying a cold glass of wine on the porch, playing the board games, or entertaining the chef while meals are being prepped. We LOVED the close proximity of the beautiful beaches, and really enjoyed being "serenaded" by the wildlife during the night through our windows. The windows all have screens, but we would have liked……

“This was a great place to work from for a week. Internet connection was great. Keep in mind you will have road noise especially on weekend's but the beach waves you can also hear. The beach is beautiful just across from the house.Tons of wildlife sloth, toucans, poision dart frogs . Also theres good gricery stores and town with shoping and restaurants within walking distance. Beds was comfortable and everything was clean . Felt very private. dart frogs , agouti, ”

The design & layout were perfect- for our foursome with bedrooms on opposite sides of kitchen, living area, and an expansive deck, designed for the feeling of outdoor living but under a high ceilinged roofline that felt open to the grounds amidst Costa Rican greenery. Lotsa time after beach days and nights at nearby restaurants or exploring this beautiful and friendly Caribbean beach community. “Our stay was amazing! The hosts were on top of it with communication. They even organized our river rafting trip which I would recommend! The resort is safe and secure and the grounds are taken care of beautifully. The pool was so refreshing for our group of 6 adults. The beach walk is just a short walk away and there is a grocery store and restaurants right across the street. Our only downside was the wifi is very spotty. If there is a storm it won't work and it can take a long time to come……

Twee gebouwtjes verbonden door grote loggia overdekt waar je heerlijk kan zitten.Contact met de eigenaar super fijn.Heerlijke tuin rondom,helemaal vrij liggend. Enige dat miste waren twee lekkere stoelen . De stoelen waren niet comfortabel genoeg om lang te zitten . Verder was t jammer dat er veel lawaai rondom was van diverse huizen die verbouwd werden echt de hele dag door en……
