“We came up with my extended family (14 of us) to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary. The home was STUNNING and there was plenty of room to sleep, eat (indoor dining table and outdoor patio tables seat 16), and hang out. There are coffee makers everywhere too, which my family loved. We quite enjoyed taking out the paddle boat, kayaks, and paddle boards (plenty of life jackets too). The water is shallow for quite a ways out which made swimming easy … and our hosts also graciously provided……

“Was clean and comfortable for three individual adults using all three bedrooms and even though listed as pet friendly did not have any type of pet odors. Backyard and four season porch was nice and quiet. We were not doing any lake activities this trip so having easy lake access was not an issue. I would recommend this property as a good choice for anyone looking to visit Alexandria.”

“The cabin and property was even better than the pictures. The only this I will say, is don't be afraid of the bug spray! It's a necessity! Fishing was great and it was beautiful and relaxing.”

“Our stay here over the 4th of July week was wonderful. The cabin is charming and clean with remodeled kitchen and bathroom. The cabin has AC in the main room. Being it was extremely hot during the 4th of July we used fans to push AC into the 2 bedrooms, which was great. The back bunk house has portable AC unit and our grown kids loved it back there. The garage (no AC) is set up for lots of fun. We spent lots of off time in there with tables, chairs, couch, games, fridge, stove, etc. So Fun!!!……

“We enjoyed our stay. Decks are close to the water and a nice place to relax after a day on the water. Owners are attentive to any issues. Docks work great for a pontoon and fishing boat.”

“This was a beautiful property with a spacious lawn and sandy beach. We loved having the big game room for rainy days and the 2 large bunk rooms were comfortable and were great for all the kids. We did a girls room and a boys room. Lots of towels and linens and huge washer/ dryer. Would've been nice to have a master bathroom, but we made it work with the 2 bathrooms. Overall, great stay and would definitely come back!”

“Our family enjoyed the water activities: Paddle Boards, Kayaks, Fishing, Swimming, Tubing behind our boat, Evening cruise around the lake in our boat. House was very clean, kitchen was well equipped, our entire family of 13 could socialize on the large deck. Hope to come back in the future.”
