“We stayed one night - January 26. I came up from Boston with my adult child who had to take a training at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. Being January, everything in Castine was closed - no hotels, nothing. this was the next closest place. I was very pleased. THe room was pristine. Looks like brand new carpet and flooring. The room and bathroom were immaculate. THe beds were very comfortable and the towels were of high quality. ”

“As always our stay was perfect. We use the Milford Motel on the River because its super convenient for us. Its close to our inlaws and close to town. When we had to cancel our last trip the Motel called me to make sure everything was okay, and that nothing major happened. ”

“We used two side chairs and an end table to have all our meals by the fire! Very relaxing reading in the big chair with a hassock.Beautiful sloping field in front, pristine snow. We had an equipment failure with cross country skis, but moved on to snowshoes for a lovely walk. Did one trail in boots alone, but wished we had gone back out with the snowshoes. Interesting ridge walk. We'd definitely go back at other seasons as well, but it was just what we wanted for February!snowshoes. ”
