“If you’re looking for a quiet and secluded getaway with gorgeous mountain views, this is the place for you. We saw several deer and turkeys in the woods surrounding the house. Although it’s secluded, it’s an easy drive to Carmel and Big Sur. It’s a great mix of rustic charm and elegance. We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck while soaking in the views every evening.”

“While we did enjoy our time we did feel the need to give folks a bit of a heads up. Gorgeous property and great for quiet stay. The advertisement oils use an update. The pictures make the place look newer than things are, which is ok but finding loose screws and rusty nails in the fenced in area meant for dogs was a bit odd. The main thing I wish the owners would’ve communicated and maybe I missed this was that it is not as isolated and serene as advertised. We were hoping to be very alone due……

“We had a girls' getaway at The Lodge. It was the perfect setting for relaxing and catching up with a glass of wine by the river. The house was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The scenery was beautiful and there was tons of out space for enjoying the view of the river which is right at the back door.
