Welcome to 'A Place at the Beach'. A Luxury Oceanfront, Non-Smoking, 2 bedroom condo, beautifully updated, 3rd floor, direct oceanfront unit in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. Watch the sunrise over the ocean from the private deck. Watch the dolphins play in the water. Enjoy the sound of the surf, walk on the soft white sand, pick up seashells and swim in the ocean.

This is a much sought after 3rd floor unit which makes it a highly desirable location. There is no elevator in the complex. There are no units above you and you have a great view from the oceanfront balcony. Both the master bedroom and living room open to the oceanfront deck. The condo has a central air conditioning system with WiFi, three flat screen TV's and DVD players. The condo is a fantastic place for a family vacation or a getaway. The kitchen has a Keurig, blender and everything else you could need for a relaxing visit to the beach.

This quiet building has its own private saltwater pool (with lounge chairs and picnic tables) surrounded by beautiful palm trees. The pool is open for swimming from May to October. We are north of the Carolina Beach Boardwalk which features seasonal rides for the kids, numerous shops and restaurants, seasonal fireworks on Thursday nights and Sunday movie night at the lake. Just blocks from the condo is the marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat rentals. Walk north of the condo to the fishing pier where there is an outdoor bar and top floor restaurant. There are secure rinse-off showers on the ground floor and a coin laundry room for your use. In the condo storage area there are beach fold-up chairs, a cooler, buckets and shovels, boogie boards and noodles for the kids. There is assigned parking at the building for one car and extra parking in visitor spots or across the street for those with more than one vehicle.

We take pride in providing a clean quality condo for your enjoyment. As a complimentary service we provide one roll of paper towels in the kitchen, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one garbage bag per garbage can to begin your stay. Upon booking you will be sent a rental agreement to sign electronically.

Wonderful hosts, wonderful property

We booked after much searching for a few key factors. One big factor was the view, which did not disappoint!! We could hear the ocean in the master bedroom, which was a bonus to me. The unit is perfect for kids, as they stocked lots of beach toys and toys in the room that entertained the kids while we got ready to head to the water. They even had bedtime books and a rocking chair which was perfect for us with kids 7, 3, and 1. Parking is a breeze here too, which after seeing other properties on our trip I can say is not always the case. While some properties stack cars under the building, each unit had a dedicated spot. The additional visitors pass was great for when family visited us. No elevator and no bathroom by the pool, so if you need a bathroom you need to get back to your room, so keep that in mind if you have young ones. Coin laundry if needed on the first floor. All in all the unit was good, and the hosts are amazing. They were very responsive, even sent a list of things to do in the area, and were most gracious during a mistake in booking. Highly recommend if for no other reason than how easy and wonderful they were to work with.

Nice beach condo!

Cozy and quiet beach condo! Perfect for a small family getaway to Carolina Beach. Steps to the sand with a great view from the balcony. Comfortable beds with linens included. Only downside is just one shower, but we made it work. Kitchen had everything we needed for our short time. They had chairs, umbrellas and beach toys to use so that is helpful since those are bulky items to travel with. Overall we really enjoyed the peaceful location and great beach days!

Comfy, cozy with great views

Wonderful experience

We had a great experience at the condo. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and we had everything we needed. It was a very nice unit and beautiful view. Stayed with family of 5, we really enjoyed it. Was thrilled to have a few indoor toys to entertain the little ones, and for the beach toys. The third floor could be a bit of a task with 3 under 6, but honestly I felt it was pretty worth it (esp with the view). Also, would pack enough to not have to do too much laundry (coin laundry machine on main level). Would book here again, really loved it and the view.

Summer Vacay!!

Condo was very clean and spacious. Love the decor and layout. View was awesome, we sit out there everyday. Checking in and out instructions were good. Owners communicated well with us. A great find… Specially designed for building memories to treasure

Ideally located, not only on the beach, but also at Carolina Beach, which is very family friendly oriented we discovered. And “family friendly“ is one of many descriptions that capture the environment of this condo… Talk about feeling like you’re at home while away from home at the beach… they provide everything more than you could think to bring Just to ensure more time to enjoy your vacation, Including books and toys for the youngsters. Reading Devotions for the Beach at the start of the day and a bottle of very good wine (for later in the day) are just two of many examples of the special treasures you’ll find here. We have been raving about this condo with our family and friends, and we definitely plan to return… Making it our go to place on the North Carolina coast.… A great find!

Oceanside Oasis

This was our family’s third trip to Carolina Beach in as many years. This was our favorite condo so far. The location is wonderful great views and beach access! This particular unit had a wonderful variety of family-oriented extras (books, dvds, games, beach and pool toys) that made the trip more enjoyable. We hope to stay here again on our next trip!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Wonderful place with the perfect view to enjoy the ocean even while you’re inside. Beautiful sunrises from the balcony each morning. Thankful for the closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for our kids. The second bedroom even had legos and blocks for our kids to play with while inside. Very happy with the cleanliness. Conveniently located close to the North End Cafe. Walked down there each morning to pick up a coffee and take back to enjoy on the balcony. Can’t wait to come back for another stay!

Perfect Location Along the Main Strip

Property is ideal size for 2 or more. Balcony is spacious with perfect ocean views. The pictures in the listing make the view look further than it actually is. The view is spectacular. The condo is clean and has every appliance one could need in the full sized kitchen (I forgot to bring a blender for frozen drinks but they had one in the cabinet!). WIFI access was easy to use. Easy access to all things Carolina Beach from this location. You won't regret it. The owners are very gracious and answered any and all questions. Highly recommended!

If you come from inland (like Colorado) and want a beach experience without having to bake yourself on the sand for hours, this was perfect. Great view, sounds and relaxation, easy access to a nice beach, restaurants, grocery, anything you need. Well equipped kitchen, which we made good use of.
