“This was the perfect family weekend away to switch off and connect with nature. We loved the short walks with our 4yo to the river for a swim, or morning visitors on the deck and the relaxing ambience of the environment. It was wonderful, the accommodation was very well equipped and had everything we needed and the perfect amount of space for our small family. ”

“What an experience!We thought the view would be amazing, and were impressed with the house- thats why we chose it. This is the ultimate place to relax, meditate and enjoy nature at its best. There are some wonderful walks nearby, however a word of caution, don't try to drive unless you have an AWD or 4WD as the roads are gravelly and full of ruts.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Cosy Cabin. There was lots of rain around for our time there but this didn't dampen the charm of this beautiful location and the accommodation made for a really memorable off-grid time away - something that I recommend for everyone. “The entire stay was great. Myself, my 23 yr old son and 13 yr old daughter laughed and created some incredible memories. The wildlife was spectacular, the scenery magnificent. The cabin came with all the needed equipment and an assortment of dvds.”

“We stayed at the Retreat for a family wedding , we had 5 adults and still had room for more.
The rumpus room with pool table and table tennis table was a huge bonus and we were the envy of others that stayed there.
The house was great and we did not need anything else to make our stay better, we were warned to bring everything with us.
All the wildlife around was wonderful as well, reminded us that we live in Australia.
It was a shame that we could not fully go on the long bush walks on……

“The property is in a central location in the town of Dungog. Next to a supermarket which is handy. I did not realise the bathroom was outside of our accommodation and that there was no running water/sink in our room. It was also very musty and airless. There were no flyscreens to open windows without mosquitos and insects coming in. It was tricky to understand where to enter the property, however the owner helped with this.
