“Excellent clean and comfortable accomodation with everything you need for a self catering getaway. Communication with host was great throughout from reservation to check in and property manager was friendlyScones and snacks on arrival were a lovely welcoming gesture. Although only a one bedroom it has a very comfortable sofa bed in living area making it ideal for up to 4 people. Outdoor space to sit or for young kids to play about. Perfect for a base to travel around the inishowen peninsula……

“The setting is absolutely gorgeous. Walking along the shore was spectacular and a few of us actually took a dip in the water. My son was able to play at the golf course, which is walking distance from the home, with his third cousin! The house was clean, well stocked, and very spacious. I loved that the living areas were upstairs, so we could enjoy the beautiful view. Communication was fabulous. Our local relatives told us, “you got the best house in the area!” ”

“Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom.”

“Beautiful location with direct beach access. Could do with some TLC around the property along with more kitchen utensils, mugs, pans etc. Could only find a couple of towels for 8 people, fortunately we had taken a few with us.”

“Two families spent just under a week here - so close to a beautiful beach. Heating didn’t work and the host got it sorted within a few hours - on a Saturday too! Hopefully we’ll get a return visit here.”

“This was a lovely spot. The accomodation was basic but really all that is needed. We did not have any hot water for all our stay however. We called (no answer) and left a message (no reply). This was a bit disappointing. The bunk beds look practical but with one person on the bottom bunk and one on the top sleep was hard as everytime one of us moved the bed would creek and wobble. ”
