“Most of the house had perfect coolness, as it was really hot during our stay. Dryer doesn't dry very well. Needed to go purchase a hand mixer to do my cake, put kitchen was well stocked. Hard to adjust TV sound until I read instruction that were left, thank goodness. Enjoyed the info left to read about the history of Reelfoot Lake. Will stay again at next family reunion.”

I found the property manager to be easier to reach and responsive. The home could use some tender loving care but it would not deter us from renting it again. “Only stayed one night as I was driving my children from our home in Texas to our old home in Michigan to throw an open house for my oldest son who just graduated high school. I have a 12 year old severely sensitive autistic son who I have yet to get on an airplane so I am stuck with these long drives if we want to leave the state. Hotels are horrible and I have to book at least 3 rooms for my children and myself to all have enough beds and then it’s so much work having to lug bags and everything……

“The property was clean and quiet. Very little traffic. Very close to the lake, and close to bait shops and stores. Close to multiple boat ramps and parks to keep the kids occupied. Sunkist beach is right up the road for swimming.”
