On visit to Fauna Hotel, Valparaiso
"Fauna Hotel is located at mid-hill level of Valparaiso and visit to historic buildings can be done in foot. The hotel also lies in restricted area where large vans are forbidden to enter. Passengers and luggages have to be dropped off the main road and there is a distance of 10 min walk to move between the hotel and drop off location. However, taxi and small vans can reach the hotel at closer range. But still there is a distance of about 30 metres to walk through.
However, the hotel staff and friendly and helpful. The room and toilet are clean and reasonbly spacious. Restaurant is located at upper floor and has good overlooking view of the city and serves dinner and breakfast. Breakfast food is good though choice is rather limited.
I reccommend the hotel for short stays of one or two days where visit to historical locations is the main purpose.
