“We had a wonderful week with our family. Giovanni is a very friendly and helpful host. The house is surrounded by so much beautiful nature. Having breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view over the Tuscan hills is like paradise. Still on walking distance you can find a bakery for a morning coffee, a pizzeria and other shops and it is only 10 minutes driving to Lucca center. The garden is enormous with endless possibilities both sun and shadow. If it gets too hot the swimming pool helps you……

La cucina e'ben fornita e non c'e'nulla che sia risultato fuori posto. La piscina e'la chicca del villaggio e l'abbiamo utilizzata tutti i giorni del nostro soggiorno. “We have stayed in numerous locations throughout Europe, but this has been our favorite stay so far. The accommodations are beautiful, unique with charm and character and yet exceptionally clean and modern. Elena from the front desk was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and had a very nice quality & variety to it. This somewhat remote (12 mins from Rosignano Solvay-Castiglioncello) is quiet, well-maintained and has everything you need for a lovely vacation. There is a guest laundry on the……

“Beautiful place and a very friendly and helpful host. Authentic Tuscan farmhouse with no frills. Lovely views all round, especially from the terrace. Excellent bar/ restaurant within walking distance. It was very hot when we were there, so the location of the pool across the road was a problem. Otherwise,great.”

“L’Ulivo is a spacious and very comfortable home. We loved all the balconies to enjoy the view from. Emmanuel was very kind and helpful during our stay. It was a good base to explore Lucca, Florence, and Pisa. ”
