“This is a charming older property in an older neighborhood. However, everything you need for a wonderful stay on a budget is here. AC/heat works perfect. Place is clean. Neighbors are quiet. Linens, blankets and towels provided. Everything in working order. Felt safe in this neighborhood. Also, right across the street is “The Country Girl Kitchen”. “When we arrived we noticed that the a/c was not working properly. We contacted the owner and he promptly called us and was at the property within 10 minutes! It was determined that the a/c was malfunctioning and needed to be repaired so he gladly refunded our money on for the stay and made recommendations for other accommodations and sites to see nearby. ”

“We were in the area for family weekend at OSU but due to overcrowding in Stillwater had no choice but to stay in Guthrie. We were very pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and charm of this little town. The apartment is in an excellent downtown location, there are shops and restaurants within walking distance, and the property owner and neighbors were extremely hospitable. The apartment is located above an art gallery and is a well kept, older residence (beware the stairs for anyone……
