“Stoney Chute Studio is perfect. The mezzanine bedroom and bathroom are huge. The whole studio is huge. Full kitchen, lounge and dining areas. Water pressure is amazing with hot hot water. Completely off grid although you’d never know. The hosts are both amazing people. I spoilt myself and ordered dinner during my stay and was delighted at the meal prepared. If you get a chance, book a workshop with the hosts. I will definitely be back. ”

“The apartment is spacious and has clearly been recently up-dated and equipped. It had everything that we needed for our 4-day stay. It was spotlessly clean and our host, Rod, made the arrival and check-in process very simple. Rod was also available for any questions. The apartment is well located to explore Lismore on foot and, being on the road in from Ballina, the surrounding area by car. Very highly recommended.”

The Old Shop was minimalist and clean and you could tell a lot of thought and love went into every detail of creating this little home. “The guy running the place is a real Aussie battler who is doing his best despite being left in the lurch by insurance companies after the flooding in 2022. As a result the motel is a little bit tired, but it's a great location for an overnight stay being within walking distance of all of the places to eat and right next to the riverside park.”

“Beautifully laid out park with lots of grassed areas and plenty of visitor parking. Situated in a quiet area. Terrific drive-through sites with ensuites. We stayed in a cabin and it was sufficient for a few nights stay. Small tv was a little too far away for watching from the bed. Nice and clean.”
