The garden is stunning with many areas to sit and and enjoy.The area around the villa is wonderful to explore with many walled towns and some superb citiesThe pool was out of action but this did not concern us as a jacuzzi tub was provided and we are not really swimmers so it never caused us an issue. “The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel had very good facilities (e.g. a laundry). We had a room at the ground level with garden access which was quiet and cool. The staff was very friendly and always tried to help. What we missed a little bit, were some space for storing of clothes and luggage (there were only four hangers). There was also only one chair in the room which was officially declared as a three-bed-room. But all in all we were very satisfied. ”

Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen und ist für toskanische Maßstäbe geradezu luxuriös. Wir haben vor allem den sehr gepflegten Pool genossen.”

“We spent a very enjoyable week in picturesque Chiusdino. Loved the little town with shops and restaurants (our tip: il minestraio!) within walking distance and great views of the countryside. Went to Siena, Firenze and San Gimignano and walked to the abbey of San Galgano. The house is spacious with 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is equipped with plenty of towels. We had the (guilty) pleasure of the pool with a great view and used the outside dining area a lot. Tip: An extra cutting board and……

“The property was absolutely charming. It really had that homey, Italian, Tuscan charm about it. The kids and my husband loved it too. I wish I had planned for more days there. We didn’t have time to partake in the cooking class or truffle hunting, but I guess that just leaves a reason to come back. The location was great too because it’s in the country away from the busy cities, but a close enough drive to all the various Tuscan sites.The owners were very nice and spoke good enough English.……
