“This was a nice property but is smaller than you may think.It is a room in an old roadside motel. And has paper thin walls.Small bathroom with not much counter space, frig doors need to open away from wall because space is tight, this makes opening the refrigerator a bit tough as there is not enough room to get your fingers on the side handle.Bed was comfortable. Couch was real small and quite hard, uncomfortable if you sat too long. Overall it was fine for a two night stay. ”

The wet room on the main floor was gorgeous & they have thought of everything you might need in the kitchen. We were in the area celebrating our daughter’s wedding and this place was a perfect home base for us!”

“The Bear's Den is a darling place to stay on a vacation. While the bedrooms were on the smaller side, the living areas had tons of room to relax and move around, which is where it really matters. The furniture was comfortable (my personal requirement), the kitchen was open and spacious, and the dining room had plenty of room for playing cards or having a meal.The rooms had super comfortable twin beds and bed linens. “We had 14 people age 13-76 for a week. The yard was great for yard games. The kids used the kayaks and paddleboards quite a bit and fished from the dock. We rented a pontoon from Wheeler Marine and had no issues do king and navigating the lake. We had great weather, but during occasional rain the game room was wonderful. Several people needed to work some and there were ample areas and WiFi to be able to separate from the group to work.”
