“We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home during our visit to the EBT railroad. The host provided refreshments and breakfast items that made for easy mornings. Being able to see the train go by the house was a cool perk. The house is spotless and very well maintained. All in all a very nice stay and highly recommended!”

“This cottage was exactly what my partner and I needed. It was beautiful and private. Sitting on the back deck and watching the squirrels and birds was so nice. My partner liked shooing the squirrels away from the bird feeder. The hosts provided almost everything, all you needed was food. Having a campfire every night was so precious to us and helped us connect. The grate for the campfire is an excellent touch, making food on the fire a breeze. The only thing that i would tell others is watch out……

“Comfortable cabin in a beautiful setting. We loved catching up on movies we never watched and taking hikes on the quiet roads. Lots of deer to watch. Off the beaten path a bit but plenty of good restaurants within a 15-20 min drive. Would definitely visit again!”

“I like that we were able to check in late. However, we had car issues and couldn't get there till about 5am. I asked them to move the dates from June 13 to June 14 to June 14th-June 15th. They said that since I checked in at 5am that they wouldn't switch the day because that's considered a full day. They also said when I called that me checking in late wouldn't be an issue. However, they put me as a no show and then when I got there they gave me an occupied room and the guy gave me an attitude……

“This is a perfect place for a multigenerational family stay! I booked this for my son’s graduation from Penn State and stayed with my father and 23 year old son. This is a great option when all the hotels in State College are booked up and Penn State is a lovely 45 minute drive away. My father stayed on the first floor next to the bathroom and we were very comfortable in the bedrooms upstairs. The house is very clean and full of charming touches that appealed to everyone.
