“The house is on the hill, with a beautifull view on the valey and the sea. The house is big and well equiped, it has everything you need for a short and a long stay. It's realy private and there is no sound of traffic or anything. The familiy was there to welcome us and made sure everything in the house worked. “Sehr saubere Unterkunft mit tollem Pool und Tennisplatz. Küche und ein Badezimmer sind durch eine Außentreppe von den Schlafzimmern mit den beiden anderen Badezimmern getrennt. Die Matratzen sind gut und eher fest. In der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht. Der Vermieter hat uns angeboten im Pizzaofen in der Küche gemeinsam Pizza zu machen, hat uns aber auch erlaubt, diesen alleine zu benutzen. Direkt in der Nähe gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, aber es gibt auf dem Weg von Neapel ca.……

The apartment is bright and modern and perfectly located within very short walking distance of cafes and restaurants as well as Melfi castle. “We were looking for an out of the way quiet apartment to base a month trip to Italy. I had heard about Calitri from a House Hunters International show on HGTV. The people of the town were lovey....friendly and welcoming to us. I orginally was not going to have a car but I think it would have been very difficult to be in this town with a car to explore surrounding areas. Host was super quick to respond with questions we had. All in all a great month! ”

“After 2 weeks of wonderful non stop sightseeing, hiking and the wall to wall tourists of the entire Amalfi coast…Tenuta Santojanni was the PERFECTLY serene, visually stunning setting to appreciate the incredible Countryside of Italy. The Villa was immaculate, the host were so friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with fresh fruit and a botttle of their own wine…”

“Such a gem! We really enjoyed our stay. The host was great and had an entire book of local places to see and places to eat! The house is within a reasonable distance from Salerno. We were able to catch the train from Salerno / Pompeii and Naples. “Un petit hôtel à l'ancienne comme il n'en existe plus beaucoup, situé dans une charmante petite ville de la Basilicate. Un peu dans son jus mais pour une étape ça passe. La chambre est correcte, le lit confortable et la salle de bain un peu petite mais fonctionnelle. C'est très calme en revanche. Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas très varié avec beaucoup de pâtisseries "maison" mais un peu sèches à mon goût. Il y a une pizzeria juste à côté, non testée.
