“This was a lovely little secluded place out in the country. I would definitely recommend this as a launching spot for any North Shore adventures for a small party. ”

“Fun atmosphere and responsive host. Bed was comfy, cute coffee bar, fluffy towels, lots of cute details and vintage dishes. We enjoyed listening to some old records on the record player. Main issues: entry way light was all but burnt out. There were quite a few flies to contend with. There were a lot of remote controls but we couldn't figure out what they were for.”

“Superior house retreat was a great place to stay for our family. Location is close to hiking and Duluth, and easy to navigate. Everyone's beds were comfortable. Ping pong table was a big hit. (We brought our own paddles and balls.) Kitchen was large so easy to work in for multiple helping hands. Duluth coffee to start was very much appreciated! Sauna is large and works for a good sweat if that is your thing. Yard area was recently mowed which was a relief so as to cut down on any concerns there.……

“This property was clean and inviting! Plenty of windows that allowed you to look at beautiful Lake Superior. The host, Jo, is detail-oriented and has thoughtful instructions posted to help you become acclimated and enjoy their home to the fullest. The double whirlpool tub is a bonus and you can still see the lake while sitting down and allowing the jets melt all your cares away. This townhouse is in a small community, not on a resort, and was quiet and private. We heard only waves and birds……

“We tried something different on the North Shore booking a property inland versus on the lake. It was a great decision - the property offers breathtaking view of the forests for miles, enhanced by the snowstorm from the day below combined with bright sunshine. The unit was very clean with an open design. Kitchen was very well furnished with quality utensils and dishes. Loved the sauna. Location is conveniently located between Two Harbors and Duluth. Would definitely stay here again!”
