“We stayed in 301 - the lovely suite at the top. It was a huge suite with brilliant air conditioning. The only problem we had was the lack of equipment in the kitchen (which was the main reason we'd booked a suite with a kitchen). For example there was no tea towel or kitchen roll (which we had to buy), and the absolute minimum in terms of crockery, cutlery etc. Staff overall were friendly and helpful, although nobody actively asked us if everything was OK, or if we were enjoying our stay, and……

We were thoroughly satisfied with the 3 nights at La Vieja Botica: - different daily quality breakfast, locally sourced (not forgetting Tracey's signature marmalede), fresh and tasty; by the olive's wood fireplace - modern and fully furnished room, extremely comfortable bed with an ever important door that opens out (able to continuously air the room is a huge plus) - spot on location for the el saltillo hike - just few steps away from the starting point”

“This place a Hostel not a hotel, but listed as a 3 star hotel on Expedia. The property otherwise is nice, clean and well located. It’s also in pedestrian zone and you can come close to it with your car, so if you have heavy luggage, you will have to bring it from parking garage, which about 200 yards away.”
