“Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House) The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom. The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming. There is the option to have a home cooked meal……

We had only three days there in this large house surrounded by nature on our road trip through Portugal and Galicia, but next time, we will try to stay longer, because there is so much to discover there. “A la llegada nos esperaban para explicarnos todo, y había en el salón un obsequio de bienvenida (que no es habitual). Las habitaciones bien, las camas cómodas. La cocina bien equipada. Tan solo faltaba mobiliario de exterior, había sólo para 8 personas, pero nos permitieron sacar sillas del salón. La piscina con vistas al Guadiana espectacular. Pasamos unos días estupendos, la recomendamos.”
