“Out of the four beachfront properties I've stayed at on Oak Island this was the best. Pictures were spot on, and no issues at all.”

“Perfect cottage for 2 and our two dogs. Everything we needed was on-site and the cottage was beautifully painted and decorated like a little island get away. The backyard was fully fenced and accessed from the cottage back door and worked well for our two dogs.Holden Beach was a few minutes drive over the bridge. We were there during a cold winter spell but still fully enjoyed the sunnier days walking the beach or riding our bikes on the bike trail. The owners are superfriendly and accomodating.……

“This rental was over the top! All the extras made this rental totally fabulous . Of all the rentals we have stayed in for the past few years, this one was exceptionally well equipped to the point we didn’t even have to unpack some of the items we travel with. The unit was clean, listing was spot on. Communication with owner was great. Location was excellent. . I would definitely go back again and again. Thanks so much for making our mini vacation, not only memorable, but stress free. ”

“Everything we could need (great appliances) and really nice back porch with private walkway to the dunes and ocean front. Walking distance to the canal and restaurants etc…really enjoyed our stay! Watched some beautiful sunrises and also enjoyed the front porch too. Favorite time of year at the beach lots of sun without the humidity. Highly recommend the drive to Michaels Seafood though, so good and “Island Burgers” bacon cheeseburgers are 5 Stars!! ”

“Lil Salty is the perfect beach house to really have a relaxing and fun beach vacation! The views are beautiful and really add to the enjoyment of the stay since you can constantly see the ocean. We loved ending our day on the beach just relaxing on the couch and watching the huge screen TV. The host couldn’t be any nicer or accommodating ! We will be back soon!”

“This was such a great little house. Roomy living space, open kitchen, the rooms were good size. Easy 20min walk to the boardwalk. The property could have been cleaned better. Very dusty - the blinds, fans, even walls were covered with dust. Many of the air vents had mold growing in and around them. The mattresses are pretty old and uncomfortable. And the bunk beds only one had a real mattress. The others just had pieces of foam as a mattress. Which was fine for my 3 year old but if you weigh……

“This was our second time staying. Perfect location for us. The beach and general store are across the street, as well as an ice cream shop. The house was clean and everything was just as described. Ms. Pat is an awesome host. My family and I are looking forward to possibly staying for our third time next year. ”

“We had a wonderful time walking everywhere. We thought the house worked fine for us it was small but we had plenty of room. Very happy the house had three bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked. Unfortunately for me, the grandmother, I had to go to the hospital & ended up having emergency abdominal surgery that same day . Another good thing to know is that the closest hospital to the house is wonderful.”

“Everything stated about this was exactly true! It was close, quiet and loved the screened in porch for late night chats. The home was clean and everything worked as designed. The communication with agent, excellent! No recommendations for improvement. We were on the move so not a lot of time actually spent there. Was able to store our E bikes in the front screened porch area. I would definitely rent this property again!! Close to eating and drinking places along with a neat bike/walking trail……

“The first thing we noticed when walking in was how clean it was, especially for being a bit older. Also, the location was just a short walk to the beach and a bunch of restaurants. It was a pretty humid and warm in there but we spent most of the day out and at the beach so it didn't bother us as much as much after the first night. Overall recommend!”
