“This is a charming hotel. The rooms are traditional, with some modern upgrades (the TV has a US Roku - a good choice for US visitors, although unfortunately it doesn't really work for UK visitors).
The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking outside the rooms.
There is no buffet breakfast, and unfortunately the breakfast options are quiet expensive (approx US$70 for two people, which is a bit excessive for a simple breakfast).
The pool, while short, has a spectacular view and is a……
“Came to Oualie Beach Resort for a quick 2-days of diving off Nevis Island - great location! Super convenient with the Dive Shop right on property. Unique experience
We would hope to come back for a longer stay and explore Nevis a bit more.”
“The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. They also helped to make arrival easy by organizing a seamless transfer from the airport to the water taxi and then to the hotel. Highly recommend”
“Facing the Atlantic Ocean, I can hear the sound of waves lulling me to sleep at night, which helps me sleep very well. While the location is a bit distant from the city center, it's highly recommended for those who enjoy tranquility. The room is very new, with many amenities just replaced, though it lacks some electrical appliances like a hairdryer and kettle, perhaps because it has just opened. The staff's service is exceptional, always there to assist me.”
“Beautiful property with a very cleverly and brilliantly designed setup. The pool area meeting the beach and units all with excellent views. The adult pool was intricately designed to maximize enjoyment and privacy.
Many dining options, each with different flairs. ”
“Lovely hotel, beautiful beach, excellent restaurant on site. Excellent room, but no elevators. Staff is nice as are all the people of this lovely, rural island. I would have appreciated more assistance with activities, rather than an invite to hear about how to buy a condo there. Cons: No reliable public transportation suitable for tourism. If you don’t drive (you must drive on the left) or rent a car you must take a taxi, which is very expensive. Off property, there are no sidewalks other……
“We had a wonderful stay at Marriott’s Beach Club in St. Kitts! The ambiance is beautiful and relaxing, and the people truly make the experience even better. The front desk and concierge staff were incredibly respectful, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The villas are spacious, well-maintained, and come with a fully stocked kitchen—perfect for a comfortable and convenient getaway.
The beach is clean and well cared for, with staff regularly removing seaweed to keep it pristine. The……
“It did the job! Reasonably priced, we just needed somewhere to stay the night before transferring to Nevis. It's very well located for the passenger ferry port.
The area near the property has some restaurants and bars, almost all un-usable due to extraordinarily loud music. During the day time, shops prop their doors open with massive speakers, blaring ludicrously loud music.”
