“Old Bank is a community of contrasts. The Jamaican heritage was great, people generally friendly, and genuine. The downside was the massive piles of garbage strewn along the walkways and ocean. There were also warnings about safety and thieves on the beaches. Firefly restaurant is a must go for great food and service. It is more expensive, but worth it. “It was very hard to open the patio and the shower door. There were few amenitiies such as face cloths or soap for the shower. Other things also.”

“Neither pools worked. Clearly for a while. Both cold and no spa options. Overall the property could do with a little love to bring it up to the cost that is being charged. Worked for our gang as all adults. Staff were perfect. Breakfast yummy each day. Captain and Boat trips amazing. Chef option disappointing. Didn't listen to dietary restrictions for the meal. ”

“In love with this oasis. It is beautiful, amazing pool and the place is perfect for a family get away. The beach is beautiful and you can connect with nature. The owner is amazing he even let us borrow coffee. Totally recommended. ”

“Words can’t express how much I enjoyed staying in this house. If you love nature, you will love it!!! The house is extremely spacious, we are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, and everyone had enough space, kids even had their own balcony and little mini snack fridges next to their beds. We saw howler monkeys and parrots everyday. One day we saw a toucan, and even a sloth cruised by. No need to pay for a nature tour, everything we wanted to see was right outside the balcony. “It's a smidge out of the way but really cute. The cafe next door is amazing! We stayed over NYE so it was a bit harder to find taxi trucks. We wished there was a TV to relax and watch a movie but overall I'd recommend.”
