“The Pink Shell was an amazing property. The staff were so helpful and fun! The villa we stayed in was so clean and had everything we needed and more. I didn't realize they had washer/dryers, dishwashers, stoves etc in them. I also loved the adult only pool. The family friendly pool stayed very active and we preferred to hang out with our drinks and relax. Fort Myers Beach is still in repair after the hurricane last year. That was the only thing that I could see that would make me give it 4……
“This hotel was great. The food and drinks were very good. The pool was nice. There were plenty of lounge chairs. My only complaint was that you had to pay additional fees- $56 daily- to sit on the beach with an umbrella. ”

It had everything I needed, including a washer and dryer in the room….which is essential when it’s brutally hot outside and you go through every outfit you brought. “I absolutely love what they’ve done with this place. I’ve been staying at this hotel for years, back when it was owned by other companies, and it has always felt safe and quiet. If you asked younger me, I’d say the food and bar used to be better, but I wouldn’t trade that for the massive upgrade they’ve done to the rooms.
