“My wife and I spent 30 days in CA and stayed in 6 different VRBO’s as we journeyed down the California Coastline. Ryan (and Bourbon Cider) were the absolute most gracious hosts. “We were thrilled to stay at Karl’s cottage and had an amazing time as always! We were able to see deer and turkeys throughout each day and enjoy the tire and tree swings on the property with our kids, and the upstairs is perfect for running and playing when it’s too windy, rainy, or cold. The house is perfectly located near Moonstone Beach, the playground, Fiscalini Ranch, and the town. We look forward to visiting again!”

Check in is super easy and they provide parking passes for a nearby parking garage. “My hubby, dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautifully furnished Vista House. Ryan, Whisky and Cider, the hosts, were very welcoming and informative. There is a deck with amazing views connected to the living space and kitchen. Beautifully and stylishly decorated. Kitchen has everything you need for meals. Bed was beyond comfortable. “This property is so perfectly aesthetic it’s like living in a decor magazine but still functional- things actually work and are comfortable as well as looking nice. It’s in a quiet neighborhood so it’s a calm place to relax but a short walk to the downtown area for dining, wine tasting, etc. Pauline was also very responsive, we asked for a replacement propane tank for the grill and she brought it the same day!For pet owners- the yard is not fenced in so a long leash was helpful to let the dog……

“We had a great mini vacation in Avila Beach! The house was perfect walking distance to the beach & downtown. Our favorite was the view of the beach from the house! The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.”

Getting to the property was a bit of a challenge, as advertised, but well worth it. Our host, Judy, was most welcoming and really went out of her way to take care of a problem we encountered. She was most gracious in sharing their property with us and shared a very good bottle of the wine from their personal vineyard. We spent a terrific afternoon on their dock……
