“Struttura datata con bisogno urgente di manutenzione , L'unica cosa positiva era il materasso, abbiamo dormito bene .Anche la posizione dell'hotel e' perfetta è proprio nel centro di Volterra , peccato che sia così trascurato perché in passato doveva essere un gran bell'albergo . Prezzo troppo alto per come è messo ora ”

“When I arrived at the hotel that was booked and confirmed through Expedia, I was told that my reservation had not been booked and that the hotel was full. Luckily the hosts booked me another hotel so that I did not spend the night in my car! I will NEVER use Expedia again since I have already emailed them about this problem and they haven't even gotten back to me!”

L’unica cosa che non mi ha convinto completamente è la distanza dal centro storico, che avevo inteso essere inferiore vedendolo dalla mappa. Invece è consigliabile utilizzare l’auto per muoversi, soprattutto la sera vista la scarsa illuminazione della via da percorrere.”

Excellent pool for the kids, great view to the Tuscany landscape and really nice small Italian city in walking distance which has nice restaurants and nice atmosphere. Federica also gave good recommendations for places to eat and wine tasting. All in all a great pleasant stay which we can recommend to others!”

“Casole Refoli is stunning!! The location is amazing - a feeling of being away from everything, yet the wonderful walled town of Casole d'Elsa is just a 15 minute drive away. The apartment was spotlessly clean with surprisingly great water pressure in the showers. Giovanna is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. If you want a relaxing stay in the Tuscan countryside, this is definitely the place for you.”

“When we arrived, Federica’s mother, Patrizia, greeted us. She was very helpful informing us about the house, Mandorlo. The home was very well equipped with all kitchen items necessary to prepare meals. AC was not available, but was not necessary, however fans were available. One of the best things about Podere Monti is the location. So many of the beautiful hill towns are within short distances of the farm. Federica’s book provides much information about the area. Parking was easy. We could pull……
