Take the ferry over to Havelock and visit Beaufort, NC Debra Parks is an awesome Manager! She saved the day and brought lights back to the cottage so my husband could finish reading his book. “It had everything we needed. Short walk to the Cedar Island Ranch where we went horseback riding. We took the ferry to Ocracoke for 1 each. We walked there from the house. Very quiet except for the sound of wind and waves. Great place to disconnect. Leave the laptop at home. ”
