“Very lovely remote cabin in the woods. We were there because of the fall colors and photographing waterfalls. We were about 9 miles to the nearest town, Mellen, WI. And there was a gas station and grocery/hardware/liquor store in Mellen. The place was very clean. We always do our own cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of room for the two of us. I slept on the very comfortable and unique pull-out couch and my girlfriend slept in the bedroom on the king size bed, which was very……

It was easy for each of us to access the property with the door code so we didn't each need a key to get in. The host responded to my inquiries in a very timely manner. “Our small group enjoyed the accommodations. It's clean and quiet and comfy. We aren't into the typical "north woods" themes so we chose the Powerhouse for its more urban feel. We were able to walk to the coffee shop and restaurants and the brewery and we were still close to Lake Superior. We also enjoyed the hot tub and rooftop patio. Can't wait to go back!”
