From the homegrown veggies and freshly-picked flowers waiting for us when we got there, to the serenely peaceful environment and proximity to the talladega national forest…I can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was. Cooking over the campfire every night with the stars above us and barely any light pollution was something I could get used to. “This property had everything we needed and I was impressed with how clean it was. All the amenities for our dog Gabby was a definite plus as well. The fenced yard was great as she got to safely roam and explore. The kitchen was well appointed as well as the bathrooms.I also loved the upper deck overlooking the lake. Wonderful view. “This was a wonderful place to have a family reunion. This is our second trip to this home. They take care of all of the small details including a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of beds and bunks for all the kids, an ice machine, a pool with a sun cover, Great outdoor spaces. “We booked a very short notice, spontaneous long weekend. We had such a great time. The views from the house are amazing. The lake is stunning. We spent our time sitting out on the dock. My two older boys loved fishing and swimming. We also rented a pontoon boat for the day and just had an amazing time cruising around. It was definitely the R&R my family needed. This was our first time at lake Weiss and we will definitely be back. ”

“My children were over the moon excited about our end of summer trip to the skoolie! The hosts have thought of everything, including snacks, extra toiletries and paper products! The cove is quiet and peaceful. There is no WiFi so we used our phones as a hotspot to connect our fire stick to the smart tv for movies for our kiddos. Just a heads up, there’s no way to secure the bus door so shopping ahead of time and then staying onsite may be best. We never left and had an amazing time! We will……

“Lyn graciously opened her home to us. What a beautiful lake home. It was very roomy, better than described. We enjoyed the huge back deck under the shade trees and the dock where we played in the water all day. We were able to dock a pontoon inside one of the slips. Lots of memories were made during our long weekend. My personal favorite part was the eclectic decor. Such fun little things tucked in unexpected places. Thank you Lyn! ”
