Great place to stay outside of the town. Short 20 minute walk into town. Rooms are set up well, nice beach, kayaks to use, good breakfast, friendly staff. Run by a family. They are always available to help if needed. Shower in the room was really nice. Wifi was a bit spotty. Lots of steps to get to rooms/beach. It is a beautiful area and we would come back and stay here.

Good value for the property, which is newly renovated and very clean. We had the room with a sauna in bedroom area, which we enjoyed, as weather was bad and it was chilly! The guy at front desk (didn’t remember his name) was very helpful throughout our stay—efficient and friendly. But, unfortunately, that ended with him. The rest of the staff we encountered were completely indifferent to guests—especially the breakfast staff who had no interest in helping or smiling or even looking like they were there for guests. No eye contact, not a smile from any of them. Very strange vibe. Views from the hotel were spectacular! And, the value for the price was good.

Should have been excellent. -BUT: Gorgeous settling. Room was not large but adequate. King bed was great. HOWEVER; hotel is very frugal as to guest services. Just two flimsy paper cups, no tissues, soap was unbelievably small, bathroom door squeezed loudly, breakfast items were mediocre.

Overall ok stay for us. Gorgeous views and great place to stay if you just want to relax. Bring water shoes because beach is all rocky. A few disappointments were WiFi was non existent, breakfast was below average and there's no laundry service (even through it's says WiFi and laundry are available on Expedia. Also, you can't walk to Cefalu from here (unless you're willing to walk 40 minutes in traffic). If you plan to visit Cefalu make arrangements.

Beautiful place to stay near Cefalu. You can walk into the town but it's a bit hazardous sharing the road with vehicles. If you have your own car, it's easy to park here and drive into Cefalu; we parked near the train station and walked around. Blue Bay is very peaceful with a decent breakfast as well as a small bar for coffee and other drinks. Comfy bed. Nice place to relax. The wifi was t very good but other than that, a great place. Our room also had a small kitchen which would be handy if you were staying for a longer time

This hotel was set right on the water with a private beach, kayaks, and paddle boat. Our room was very large, and all the rooms have their own balcony. The hotel is very quiet because nobody is above or below you in another room. It's so easy to drive into Cefalu and park, and the hotel has its own parking lot. The breakfast was fine, rather basic, but overall, we loved the setting right on the ocean and would happily stay again.

Blu Bay hotel feels like a hidden gem of cefalu. I felt so lucky we found this place! Cefalu is a charming and a must visit town in Sicily however it can get quite busy and overwhelming that’s where the private beach access comes through! You have your own slice of paradise without crowds and annoyances. It’s super close to dining options (20 minute walk, a bit longer if you are a slow walker), the views are mind blowing! Parking couldn’t be easier, we left our car right there and were able to enjoy cefalu without worrying where to park the car. Our room was great, we booked one with sauna in the room and haven’t regretted it! What a nice treat to be able to relax after the entire day of swimming. Cat recommend enough!

Fantastic property for a relaxing vacation. It's right on the water with a small but very usable beach, many lounge chairs and a beachfront bar. The room was spacious, clean and very modern with a kitchenette and outdoor seating space. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It's an easy and safe 20 minute walk to Cefalu on a path and there are restaurants along the way.
