“It had been a tough year for our family, and we were badly in need of a getaway surrounded by loved ones and the beauty of nature. The Red Door Lodge was the perfect prescription. The octagonal, log house has a feel of authenticity yet with all the modern conveniences. There was more than ample room inside for us, our adult grandkids and their awesome mom … but it was the grounds with many mowed trails and a gorgeous lake that were most amazing. The cabin is close enough to “civilization” for……

“Ben was a wonderful host and was very quick to reply in all of our conversations. We had a large group over a long weekend and we all felt that there was plenty of space inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals and accommodate our big group. The beds were VERY comfortable. We would definitely consider this property again if we return to the area. ”
