The description does not mention that the bathroom does have a larger than normal tub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of adventures. ”

“We recently stayed at this house on Lopez Island and, while it has a beautiful view and the potential to be charming, it’s important to know what to expect. The house had an eerie, somewhat neglected feel to it. There were bugs inside, a noticeable odor, and it didn’t seem ready for guests—very bare with no Wi-Fi. Upon arrival, the sliding glass door was left wide open, which was unsettling. The neighborhood has close neighbors, so privacy was limited, and there were no coverings on some of the……

“This is a lovely little cottage close to Deception. It was perfect for us a we are traveling the Pacific Northwest. All clean with the necessities. We didn't hear a lot of traffic noise (a complaint of some, I guess).It was easy to make warm on a drizzly evening in May. We really liked it and the owner was friendly and respectful! Would definitely book again!”

“The mesmorizing view on a clear day gives a 180 view of the Olympic Penninsula, Vancouver Island, and Anacortes as well as the ocean traffic. On a foggy morning, grab your book, some music and a cup of coffee and enjoy the solitude. Monitor the tides for an opportunity to walk the sandy beach and explore the driftwood and ocean tumbled rocks. Gorgeous!”

“If you want a beautiful view, this is your place. Amazing deck, hot tub, & sauna too!The beds are comfy, bathrooms are tidy & nice showers. The owners have taken a rustic shack & updated it nicely. Kitchen has everything you need, all newer appliances & adequately outfitted for those who like to cook.Communication with owners was great. They got back to us immediately & sent somebody out to answer our questions.We will definitely be back!”

“Overall, the stay was great. The beds were comfortable, and it was a perfect location for our weekend events. Host was very communicative and friendly, however, it was not advertised that the property is his home, so that was a little strange to learn upon check-in. Master shower set up is also odd, but doable for a short time. ”
