“The Lumen Nature Retreat was a fantastic choice for a first time camper, like myself. The campsite was a perfect retreat at the end of a day of hiking, and provided the comforts of a beautifully maintained bathroom/shower that was a quick walk from my site. The safari tent was a great choice too, with plenty of space to get settled with a nice comfy bed to rest at the end of a long day. “The house was high up a winding mountain road and truly had spectacular views of the mountains. It had everything we needed for cooking for a large group. The owner provided excellent information before and during our trip. We were there during a snowstorm and the road was plowed quickly but definitely recommend a car with good traction as it was a little nerve-wracking driving on snowy roads.
