“Six friends and I rented Joan's lovely pace for a personal reunion, and our 50th high school reunion for a week in June. The VRBO pictures and descriptions did not do the place justice! So many comfy places to gather inside and out, and the added attraction of being right on the Delaware River made our 4-night stay extra special. The house was spotlessly clean; the kitchen well-appointed, and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. Joan is the consummate hostess who was available from the moment……

“New Hope was so fun for the weekend and this place was perfect! Really great walkable location although nice and quiet at night. Beds were cozy. Living room was okay cozy wise doesn’t have a true couch. But still 5 stars and would return! ”

“The property was perfect for us. It has plenty of room and great furnishings. Had some trouble with the door upon arrival but were able to sort it out. Host was great. Friendly. Gave us eggs from his chickens. Our dog was with us and it was a good space for her as well. The pool was great!!Would definitely recommend and return. ”

“Wonderful quiet space for visiting the New Hope area. Nicely stocked coffee/tea bar in kitchen including some snacks. Very clean and comfortable. The area had a storm while we were there and lost power but this place has a generator that kicked on and we continued to have power. ”

“ The house was comfortable for our group of 12 with comfortable sleeping arrangements, a kitchen well-organized for a family who likes to cook, flexible seating and eating areas and a large family room with bar in the back. We had an issue with the grill on the deck; the owner responded and took care of the issue first thing the next day.
