“Excellent staff and breakfast. ”

“This hotel is closed and has ceased trading. When we arrived it was closed up and a local lady said it was closed down. I’m still waiting for a refund from Hotels.com. Don’t book this hotel. ”

“Just a one nighter on our journey south. We enjoyed lakeside rooms and a spectacular sunrise. No mosquito nets...? Friendly staff doing their best in difficult conditions.”

“Ok but tired. Called a beach resort but rooms are a long way from the lake and you can’t see it. Beach not maintained as other local properties do and no amenities eg seats/loungers. ”

“The Green Elephant is stunning. Conveniently located (if you have transport) for getting around Lilongwe but not directly in the middle. The staff are relaxed, friendly and professional and helped every day. They made me special vegetarian options on request, and let me help myself to other foods. The furnishings are top notch. There is lots of shared space around the place, and the only distractions are the noisy birds in the morning! Amazing hotel. If I could want for one thing, it would be……

“This hotel is very comfortable. The staffs are very kind. You can ask questions you have on your trip. Especially, Mr. Aditya, front office manager, told me how to go to other cities. In addition, I was very peased with meals in this hotel's restaurant. You can eat not only local foods but also Indian and Chinese ones. I can reccomend this hotel with confidence.”
