“It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. ”

“i'm upset we only had one night in mystic, this place was AMAZING. such a great start to our road trip! josh and erin were there to greet us, and give us some local recommendations. the entire place is beautifully and artfully appointed in such a unique style, seamlessly mixing some modern amenities with a rustic style that honors the history of the property. the property is closer to downtown than we thought, but tucked away on a residential street so it felt like a world away, in a good way.……
