“I mention names of employees here, hoping they do get recognition,--nobody solicited me for this review. I stayed at this hotel for five days and was pleasantly surprised by how much it offered, especially for the price. While the building is older, it’s very well maintained, and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds, crisp white sheets, and towels. I had one of the more affordable rooms, but the large east-facing windows offered stunning views of the city and mountains. If you do nothing……

“Old, worn out, & you get what you pay for. Rain is loud on roof, motorcycles heard all night. Needs fresh paint & clean grout. However, the room service Indonesian 06:00 breakfast was tasty. The hotel staff got us soap upon request. The aircon worked and we had hot showers. There were 2 sitting parlors adorned with sculptures & plants by the front desk. The hotel is within a few blocks of the downtown night market. ”
