“This was a great spot for our time in Te Anau. We used it as home base to explore the region (hiking, Milford Sound, etc.). Location is hard to beat - very close to the lakeshore, business district, city park, Fiordland DOC Visitor Center and multiple very good restaurants (Ditto, Redcliff, Miles Better Pies). We cooked meals multiple times and the kitchen and pantry were well stocked. Beds were comfortable but not posh. If you are looking for a luxury location, this isn't it. It was……

“Te Anau was a cute little town. Enjoyed the downtown area for dinner. This house served as a great location for us to stay for spending 2 days in Milford Sound with our 2 kids and inlaws. Lawn and bushes needed upkeep. This made us a little worried when we pulled in. But the inside was spacious and comfortable.”

“The views from the property are stunning, garden is lovely and kitchen good. A few minor things wrong which where communicated to the company but no response. It sleeps 15, but lounge, dining and outside can only cope with 8. TV room is rubbish and sofas uncomfortable and cheap, really needs a tv in lounge and master bedroom. However the views trump all of these issues ”

“The property was clean and tidy during our stay. There are basic kitchen utensils if you need to cook a simple meal. A new shower has also been installed since the last review. Aroha was a kind and friendly host. I recommend this unit for travellers stopping over for a night to rest before heading to their next destination. ”
