“The option to ski in and out of this location was perfect. The residence was quiet. Staff was frindly and helpful. The lobby could use an upgrade of its furniture. It was strange not to have a sink in the toilet area in the apartment, this seems like a strange design to me. The kitchen had all sorts of pots, plates, and everything needed for cooking. Bring soap, condiments, toilet paper, tea and coffee as these are not supplied. We had a minor issue with the fuse in our apartment but the……

“Une semaine très simpa en famille. Dommage que la neige n'arrivait pas jusqu'au pied du chalet, un peu de marche le matin pour se mettre en jambe mais rien d'insurmontable!!! Nous avions également eu l'autorisation d'avoir nos deux chiens ce qui est un atout majeur! Et pour le coup c'était le paradis des chiens au niveau des exterieurs du chalet! JE recommande fortement ce chalet ou l'accueil et la communication ont été au top!”

“Tout d'abord, l'accès : aucune indication dans la station pour indiquer le bâtiment de la résidence. Ensuite, si toutes les autres résidences affichent sur leur fronton leur nom bien visible depuis la route, Le Varet se contente d'un nom au-dessus de la porte principale située qui n'est pas visible depuis la route et le parking à proximité. Bref, grosse galère pour trouver le bâtiment. Enfin, l'état général de la chambre est moyen et il ne faut pas regarder de trop prêt la qualité du ménage……

“Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans ce chalet plein de charme, offrant une vue imprenable sur la vallée et une belle exposition plein sud. Le grand balcon est un vrai plus pour profiter du panorama.Le chalet, bien que dans son jus, reste très agréable à vivre et parfaitement adapté pour un grand groupe : nous étions trois familles avec huit enfants, et chacun a trouvé sa place sans difficulté.À noter que l’isolation entre les pièces est un peu légère, ce qui est normal pour un chalet……

“We stayed here for one short night before taking the train back to Lille. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station - uphill on the way to the hotel! The staff were helpful and friendly, and we liked the aesthetic of the hotel. The wifi was not great, but that was not a huge issue for the night. The hotel restaurant was packed on Saturday night - advise making a reservation ahead of time if you can.”
