“Wonderful week at RRFE, and the peace of being outside of town and right on the river was perfect. Very clean property, but the sofa has seen better days. The sleeper mechanism has collapsed and it is falling to the floor. But we would stay there every time if available. ”

“This was a cozy cabin. The pond and cabin were perfect for a much needed family vacation. It’s close enough to Red River, the fish hatchery and Taos for you to drive to the more crowded areas of the enchanted circle. The fishing was fun. The cabin had a nice living room kitchen and front porch. This place has everything you should expect for a comfortable mountain getaway. ”

“4.5 stars! Easy check-in, clean and a nice cabin. The highlight is sitting on the porch next to the stream, where we watched hummingbirds, chipmunks, ducks, and fish in the cooler temps of RR. My half star deduction is for the lack of something to put suitcases on and seating.Our belongings had to set out along the floors of the bedrooms. Only one bedside table, not two. (At least in the two smaller bedrooms, not sure about the master) The house sleeps six, (we had five adults), yet there is……

“It was disappointing that the alpacas had been relocated. Otherwise, the property was very serene and lent itself to a wonderful place for inner reflection. Rooms were immaculate. June and Jim were so cordial. I would like to return. ”

“Such a fantastic cabin to stay and enjoy the area. A short drive East or West and you are into all that the area has to offer. The pond and small stream create a relaxing environment. Will hopefully be back with the family.”
