I had the pleasure of experiencing a memorable stay at the Malmo Historic Hotel, in July 2024.
This boutique hotel is luxurious, offering the old charm of the island, while providing modern day comforts.
Conveniently located and within walking distance to several dining establishments, local shops, tourist attractions and the beach, this hotel was an excellent choice!
Upon arrival, I was greeted with a "sweet" welcome. The front desk concierge was friendly, and offered complimentary baklava bites. After a long day of travel, the treat was very thoughtful and very much appreciated. Her hospitality didn't stop there. She provided a map of the island and offered helpful tidbits to ensure I had the best experience during my stay.
My generously sized room had a classic-modern style, offering beautiful finishes right from its entrance and all the way into the bathroom -- which was almost as big as the bedroom! Using local products in their toiletries was also appreciated. The room was fully equipped, providing a comfortable and relaxing experience. They thought of everything, even providing beach gear (beach bag and towels).
The hotel's private balcony offered a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy their daily, complimentary breakfast. Local treats were amongst familiar choices, offering something for everyone.
