“Alkina lodge is so beautiful and nestled right in the forest. You can see kangaroos and deer up close right outside the window. The entire place is high end luxury from the bedding, furnishings, kitchen appliances and bathrooms. The kitchen is very well appointed and has everything for a large group. We only stayed one night but I wish we had stayed longer! It is very close to 12 Apostles and we were able to get there in the morning and beat the crowds. Expedia showed this as a 1 bed, 1……

“The house is quite old. The cleaning is terrible. Many of the dishes were filthy. It's a little difficult to get there. The entry is unmarked. Sea Eagle Retreat may have been the name of this property. The entrance had that board.Numerous light globes and the kitchen fan were not functioning. One of the primary TVs is unable to function. When I phoned the manager in the morning, he informed me that since it was late, he would send someone the following day. When I called again in the morning, he……

“We really enjoyed our 2 days. The accommodation met all of our needs. The house was well presented and provided everything we needed. It was great to have a washing machine and clothes lines. We would be happy to come again. Lisa was always available in case we needed to know anything else.”

“Curtains in living area and second bedroom do not work and desperately need replacement. Could do with a small coffee table in front of settee.Otherwise OK but not more than 3 stars.”
