Summary:
The Jonathan J. Wright Inn is located in Charleston's charming historic Cannonborough-Elliotborough district. This traditional, Charleston-single home is conveniently located near top-rated restaurants, nightlife, shopping, historical sites, and more. This listing features original hardwood floors, a beautifully renovated suite, queen bed, mini-fridge, microwave, and on-site parking for small vehicles. Enjoy all that the 'Holy City' has to offer!

-This listing provides wireless internet. I do not have access to cable television. You may login to streaming apps (I.e. Netflix, Hulu) using your personal credentials; however, please remember to logout prior to check out.

- There is on-site parking for SMALL vehicles only.

-Self check-in using keypad entry.

I live on the property and I am available to answer your questions/provide assistance. I do respect your privacy and will not intrude during your stay.

The Space:
This 1BR suite has a separate entrance and self check-in keypad to ensure complete privacy. Included in this listing are: all linens, iron, mini-ironing board, Keurig coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, utensils, plates, and wine glasses. Also included are shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bottled water, coffee/tea, snacks, and a welcome gift upon your arrival. Please contact me prior to check-in if you would like to have any additional items available.

The Neighborhood:
Many activities and local sites are within walking distance. If you have a small to mid-sized vehicle, I highly recommend that you leave your vehicle in my parking lot during your stay & utilize Uber, a pedi-cab, or rent a bike to explore the city (i.e. The City Market, Rainbow Row, South Battery, etc).

The room was exactly as listed. It was lovely. Excellent instructions for parking. The host was very responsive. While the location isn't right downtown, we were able to walk there.

Great experience over all. Super comfy bed with great pillows. Immaculately clean and stylishly decorated. We particularly enjoyed the added touch of a keurig & a selection of teas & coffees, which we enjoyed on the piazza both mornings. We felt like this was a fairly safe area and not too far to some great restaurants & historical sites. Thank you for such a cozy place!

The place was great, was perfect size for me and my girlfriend. Was in a perfect location, not too far from town, but kept us out of traffic. Everything included in the stay was great. Many complimentary amenities. Was very clean as well. Would 100% stay here again and plan on it!

Cute, small spot

The accommodations were clean and the host was super welcoming with the wine, flower, snacks and cold towels in the fridge. Location was great for touring downtown but also being close to Shem creek and Folly (by car). The space was small but sufficient for my husband and I for the few days. My biggest complaint is that the walls were paper thin. We were not able to sleep past 8ish in the mornings and on Saturday night, we were awoken at 1:45 am by the people upstairs and I was not able to fall back asleep for some time. I always sleep with earplugs but my husband and I were still awoken by the noises from the upstairs and side units. Overall it was a cute, clean and centrally located spot but will likely not stay again due to the noise issues.

Perfect Stay in Charleston

My husband and I loved this unit! It was super charming and chic. The bed was the most comfortable we had on a vacation in a very long time. The unit is very clean. I liked that it was in walking distance to all there is to offer on King Street. We are “Southern Charm” and “Southern Hospitality” fans so it was nice to be so close to the bars/restaurants/shops associated with those shows. When you look at the cost of hotels in the area, this place is a steal for the price! We would definitely return.

Great Little Place!

Stayed here on a girls trip. It was the perfect location for exploring the city. We walked or biked everywhere. The unit was impeccably clean and there were many thoughtful touches such as coffee, water, toiletries, and a lovely welcome gift of wine and snacks. It is small but we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was quick to reply to any questions we had. The only complaint is that we could hear the people above us walking on the wood floor when we were trying to sleep, but earplugs helped with that. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

This is a small, well operated inn in Charleston. It is in walking distance to many local museums, restaurants, bars and coffee cafes.The room was small but comfortable. Good wi-fi, large screen TV, plush towels, wine and snacks awaiting your arrival.

A perfect getaway stay

We loved the lovely home setting . The room was perfect , extremely clean and added touches of welcoming snacks and wine and beverages. It was a quiet neighborhood . Everything in walking distances . Loved the neighborhood restaurants and wine bar and breakfast stops. The owners decorated their home beautifully for the holidays. Communication with them was wonderful. Clean, affordable option

Clean apartment with a modern bathroom and comfortable bed. Plenty of towels, and the bottle of wine and snacks were a nice touch. Only complaint is the sink is so small your can’t fill a water bottle.

Amazing stay for two people!

We absolutely loved our stay, my best friend and I knew we wouldn't be in the room too often and this was perfect for the two of us. Very walkable to King St/ cheap ubers if you don't want to walk. Lovely experience - 10/10 host that was incredibly hospitable. We want to come back!!
