I am puzzled by the positive reviews on this hotel, why was my room so bad in comparison? I stayed five nights and housekeeping only cleaned my room twice. After complaining to the front desk and being promised action, nothing ever happened. The staff said they would alert the manager but they never did, when I checked out, I asked to see the manager and she confirmed she didn't know about it. I feel this was deliberate. Maybe they were understaffed, but being gaslighted by the front desk staff and manager made it worse. My stay awful as I also had to deal with a long hours at work. Coming back late night to a room that wasn't cleaned over and over again was a deliberate sign of disrespect and lack of professionalism. They had a chance to fix it and they chose not to. The room I was in smelled of damp, my clothes and my paper grocery bags got more damp by the day and everything in the room that was made of metal was rusted. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Buyer beware. And another issue: When I first checked in, the front desk told me there was no booking for me (Through Expedia), that on their screen it looked like had cancelled the booking (I had not) but said another room was available for a higher rate, eventually I called Expedia and they sorted it out because the booking was clearly visible in my account. I will warn everyone I know about this hotel, something is not right. Looking forward to seeing how management will respond to this review.
