We had a two bedroom 2 bath room. The second bathroom shower never worked. We complained many times. Staff would very nicely say they would look into it and it nothing ever happened. No accommodations were made, no room switch offered. The manager was never on site and never returned my many calls and emails. Have never been so disappointed in service. They should have charged our room immediately instead of promising to “send someone”. When we checked out we were told that the wall had to be taken out to fix. Why did we have to spend the weekend in an uncomfortable situation sharing a shower with another couple. We would have never booked it this room. And the no call back from the manager is just inexcusable.

The property was in a great location, all the staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. Great coffee shop on site, the bar and restaurant looked good, although we didn’t try as already had reservations. Our 2 bed apartment was very spacious with the added bonus of an outside terrace. Only negative is that there was some staining of the carpets and the paintwork was in need of a refresh.

This hotel was in a great location on King Street with a rooftop restaurant that had great food and a coffee cafe that was cute and really good! Our room was big and decorated great! It was an old building but completely restored! Vallet and mini jeep free transportation within 2 miles were nice perks! Great experience!

My overall complaint for this property was the valet dented my car and the hotel has pushed off all attempts to remedy the situation despite acknowledging the issue. Terrible management and service. Beware if you have any issues. Good location close to restaurants, attractions, and shopping.

I loved my suite at the Restoration and only wish I’d been able to stay more than one night. It was clean and spacious, with a full kitchen and roomy bathroom (and fabulous bathtub). The staff were very friendly, from housekeeping to desk personnel to valets. My favorite thing about The Restoration was the little extra freebies they give guests, including pimento cheese and crackers, soft drinks, and a charming breakfast basket with breads and fruit. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Charleston.

This was such a convenient place. The staff are top notch. Angel and Daniel had us covered in anything we needed! The only surprise was no on site parking. However, staff made that NOT a problem!
