“The Captain’s House is spacious, beautiful, well-stocked with a lovely pool (great for swimming laps) and glorious 360 view that includes a good bit of ocean. There is always a lovely breeze and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. This home is perfect for family groups as there is plenty of space to spread out. It was also great for just my husband and me. Very quiet and private yet close to the best restaurants,grocery store, and beaches. The house manager, Buckey, was readily available and……

“We found it very difficult to communicate with the absentee owner, who had not provided proper directions even up to the time when we arrived in Charlestown. Only through the assistance of a stranger who allowed us to use his office wifi, were we able to talk with the owner, who was in Hong Kong, then our newfound friend drove us to the location in his personal car. We were met there by a local person who apparently cares for the property. The house is badly in need of repair, many lights not……

“Joyce and Susan were great. Very clear communication, unit was all we could ask for and more. Spacious, well stocked, walking distance to 2 grocery stores and many very good local restaurants on the beach. Having a washer and dryer in the unit makes the vacation much easier. Especially since we stayed here after a week on a scuba boat. This gave us the ability to clean up and repack for the flight home. The deck facing the water was incredible. Definitely a great value.
