“Such a beautiful home on the river! I love watching birds and this home did not disappoint with a perfect grain gazebo set up for my tripod overlooking the river which gave me the best view of a pair of bald eagles nesting there. So many other beautiful birds, woodpeckers, friendly squirrels and cute raccoons that loved the peanuts I had to offer. A peaceful and tranquil stay. I can’t wait to come back!”

“met here for a family gathering elsewhere in the town. this is the perfect home for a couple with another or a kid or two. the view of the river is awesome and the wildlife was abundant. the owners were easy to work with. the only caveat would be if you have trouble with steps all the rooms are on the second floor so this is a consideration for some people with mobility issues I would suppose. ”

“We were coming in to town for a funeral. Less than 3 hours before check in the booking was cancelled. Just not ideal. I understand if there were issues but please let us know farther ahead. We drove 4 hours in for the funeral and were already in town. Also, communication was incredibly difficult as it was not routed to the host but through some third party intermediary called Evolve. I tried both calling and texting the host the evening before to confirm details. No response until Evolve……

“This house was fantastic! It has everything; coffee, wine, towels, mugs, silverware, and even plastic baggies for my traveling ball players! If we are ever in the area again , we will choose this house!”

“We had a family vacation here with ages ranging from 7 to 63 and all had a spectacular experience! We had the whole River Rock Inn and had more than enough room for our large family! Even though Mother Nature decided to claim the beach, we still had fun fishing off the dock, playing indoor and outdoor games, walking along the waterfront and enjoying some local sights. The view from the lookout at Bellevue State Park was awesome, and the Lock and Dam never disappoints. We also enjoyed meeting……

“Great property, walking distance to downtown and just a few min drive to the state park. Parking was easy on the street in front of the home. Very close to the grocery store in toe . Hosts were great and very helpful. They sent a wonderful welcome sheet with house info and things to do in the area. About 40min drive to Galena. We were only there for two days and hope to go back and spend more time. We plan to stay at the same property when we return. ”

“Booked on a whim to get away for a couple nights along the Mississippi and this seemed like the right fit. We weren't looking for anything extreme, just something comfortable and near the water. This certainly checked the boxes! The host was wonderful and very accommodating to allow us to bring our pup along for the fun. Close to some great wineries and breweries. If you've never experienced the Mississippi River's unique tempo, this is perfect. The train trestle was visible right from the back……

“We were very happy with our house in Maquoketa. Very clean everything we needed, good location to the fairgrounds for the car races. Very pleased with everything. ”

“Have stayed at this property in the past and will continue to do so. Would encourage anyone with plans to stay in the Fulton area to give this house a chance over area hotels. Very cozy house with plenty of place and amenities. You get the feel of being in the country with the farm across the street but the convenience of being in town. We enjoyed the meat/cheese tray, and fruit/veggie tray left in the fridge for us by the host. We had a great time staying at the house with family from Minnesota……

“Very accurate vs the listing. Inside especially. Outside less, driveway rough and needs repair. In rougher part of town. Nice inside. Bed need improvement though comfortable but would not say very. Well equipped except needsHair dryer and no dishwasher nor dish soap to clean things. Checkout expectations not communicated so just left things as best we could and only point from host was to rerun key to lock box. Tape on outlets in bedroom needed to be clarified ok with the host that were from……
