Before arrival, the owners were super efficient with communication, providing detailed information about the property and responding to questions on the same day. “We (my partner, and my Mum) had a lovely stay here to celebrate my Mum's birthday and really appreciated the treats left for us! Check in was super easy with the lock box. The cottage is great for 2 guests as both bedrooms have an en suite (although the upstairs/loft bedroom doesn't have a door FYI). Plenty of seating in the living area too with the sofa, armchair, and even an electric armchair which came in handy for my Mum! The village has a yummy pastry shop where we got breakfast every morning, a small convenience store, and a couple pubs/restaurants all about a 2 minute walk from the house. “My husband and I have just spent a wonderful weekend at The Captain's Cabin. The cottage was just perfect & beautiful inside, we arrived late in the evening and opening the door to a warm & cosy cottage was heaven. It has all you'd need for your stay, fully equipped kitchen. People in Chipping Camden were very friendly and we had some lovely conversations with locals whilst out exploring the lanes around the town.The cottage itself was warm and comfortable (the beds were wonderful), and had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay.
